Corn stocks in all positions on June 1, 2026 totaled 5.29 billion bushels, up 14 percent from June 1, 2025. Of the total stocks, 2.96 billion bushels are stored on farms, up 16 percent from a year earlier. Off-farm stocks, at 2.34 billion bushels, are up 12 percent from a year ago. The March - May 2026 indicated disappearance is 3.74 billion bushels, compared with 3.50 billion bushels during the same period last year.
Soybeans stored in all positions on June 1, 2026 totaled 1.06 billion bushels, up 5 percent from June 1, 2025. On-farm stocks totaled 367 million bushels, down 11 percent from a year ago. Off-farm stocks, at 694 million bushels, are up 16 percent from a year ago. Indicated disappearance for the March - May 2026 quarter totaled 1.06 billion bushels, up 18 percent from the same period a year earlier.
Old crop all wheat stored in all positions on June 1, 2026 totaled 920 million bushels, up 8 percent from a year ago. On-farm stocks are estimated at 177 million bushels, down 4 percent from last year. Off-farm stocks, at 743 million bushels, are up 11 percent from a year ago. The March - May 2026 indicated disappearance is 383 million bushels, up slightly from the same period a year earlier.
Old crop Durum wheat stocks in all positions on June 1, 2026 totaled 33.5 million bushels, up 20 percent from a year ago. On-farm stocks, at 18.6 million bushels, are up 32 percent from June 1, 2025. Off-farm stocks totaled 14.9 million bushels, up 8 percent from a year ago. The March - May 2026 indicated disappearance of 12.3 million bushels is up 17 percent from the same period a year earlier.
Old crop barley stocks in all positions on June 1, 2026 totaled 66.4 million bushels, down 4 percent from June 1, 2025. On-farm stocks are estimated at 23.5 million bushels, 12 percent above a year ago. Off-farm stocks, at 42.9 million bushels, are 12 percent below June 1, 2025. The March - May 2026 indicated disappearance is 26.7 million bushels, 20 percent below the same period a year earlier.
Old crop oats stored in all positions on June 1, 2026 totaled 31.8 million bushels, 12 percent above the stocks on June 1, 2025. Of the total stocks on hand, 13.9 million bushels are stored on farms, 42 percent above a year ago. Off-farm stocks totaled 17.9 million bushels, 4 percent below the previous year. Indicated disappearance during March - May 2026 totaled 9.17 million bushels, 34 percent below the same period a year ago.
Grain sorghum stored in all positions on June 1, 2026 totaled 66.7 million bushels, down 33 percent from a year ago. On-farm stocks, at 8.61 million bushels, are up 25 percent from last year. Off-farm stocks, at 58.1 million bushels, are down 37 percent from June 1, 2025. The March - May 2026 indicated disappearance from all positions is 105 million bushels, up 107 percent from the same period last year.
Pulse crops stored in all positions on June 1, 2026 and the change from June 1, 2025 are: dry edible peas, 3.92 million cwt, up 19 percent; lentils, 3.08 million cwt, up 94 percent; all chickpeas, 2.48 million cwt, up 40 percent; small chickpeas, 965 thousand cwt, up 68 percent; and large chickpeas, 1.52 million cwt, up 27 percent. Small chickpeas are defined as peas that will pass through a 20/64 inch round hole screen. Large chickpeas are defined as larger than 20/64 inches.
